'92 National Championship Game against Miami. My brother and I made the road trip. Their fans were some of the worst "you know what's" I've ever met. When they started slinking
out of the Super Dome late in the 3rd quarter, they got to hear it from us. Heck of a night.

Runner up - 2009 National Championship in the Rose Bowl. Great atmosphere.

so true! I was in sixth grade and my dad's friend hated Jay Barker, and I was in love with him. My dad had rented a bus for us all to make the drive from Birmingham to T-Town cause it was his fortieth birthday. The whole way down this guy ranted and raved about pulling Jay Barker and how we were gonna lose, blah, blah, blah ( he was definitely one of those fans.) It made him doing well that much better! What a magnificent night!

And ( I am not sure if this counts, but it was an awesome game day memory) in 2005 None of my friends were students anymore and I had two tickets, but I couldn't decide who to take, so I sold them to this couple who was there for their anniversary and bought a keg. We pulled the TV outside, pulled cars into the yard, that we sat on around this huge screen and listened to Eli Gold, the stadium (the apartment complex was really close to BDS) and the Sounds of Alabama CD and we all got nice and schlitzed together. Other than losing Prothro (which was an agonizing moment) it was an awesome day! The cherry on top was getting to see all the Florida fans who had been so cocky walking out! HA! RTR!
Sure does count wat a great story, both of them.
Ever Notice how some Bama fans always want the back up in at QB? But the poor RB to play every down. just funny.

Bama-Clemson in the Georgia Dome. I despise Clemson on a level none of you will ever understand. Personally, I'd like to burn the entire city down and make bricks with it. Short of that, it was highly enjoyable watching Bama beat the tar out of them.
As a USC grad and a resident of Columbia, I fully understand... auburn with a lake.\

92 Sugar Bowl would be my second, with 9-6 win over UT in Knoxville 3rd.

UF at Bama - 2005 - 31-3 against a Top 5 team was awesome
AU at Bama - 2008 - Something about the environment that night. It was foggy and got dark around 5 or so if I remember. Just electric

2010 Rose Bowl - Gotta say this was the best. Definitely worth the trip

Lot's of youngsters here but that's cool. Close call between 1985 Iron Bowl and 1966 Ala/Tenn in Knoxville, 11-10 Bama. Very difficult conditions but one of the best Alabama teams in history.

69 Liberty Bowl vs Colorado even though we lost. It was my first Bama game I attended with my Dad.
Next would have to be the 78 Sugar against PSU and witnessed the most famous goal line stand ever!

The GUMP
2009 BCS Championship. My first one I attended. I was a freshman for the '92 and couldn't attend. 2009 was special because my mother was able to attend and we shared a really good time.

After that I'd say, 2002 Bama-UT. went with a good friend, UT grad, sat in great seats and watched the fans' around me demeanor change from very hospitable and friendly to quite sour.

OR UGA Blackout - Went with a UGA grad who said not one word all the way back home.

OR My roadtrip to LSU with a friend of mine in 2008. Wonderful atmosphere, ESPECIALLY since we won.

Still my first Bama game I ever attended. That would be the 92' season when the Tide came to utk. I was a student at utk at the time. So ticket was FREE. Had to have a student ID to be able to use my ticket. The ticket lady was visibly upset when I produced my ID dress in Alabama apparrell.

lol the old folks there actually arent too bad. the kids on the other hand....... :willy_nilly:
Never been to Clemson (well, once YEARS ago), but the few Clemson alumni I know here in O-Town are pretty level headed. They're somewhere between punk kids, and crotchety old people, so roughly my age (late 20s through about 40). I talked with one after the 2008 game, he said about Bama's dominance and Clemson's less than impressive performance: "As a Clemson fan, if you didn't see that coming, you were fooling yourself"

1993 Sugar Bowl vs Miami - For those of us that were there, the electricity in the Dome was unbelievable. When Teague intercepted Gino and scored, I thought the roof was coming off. I still get chills thinking about it. Great night.

#1 for me is 2009 at auburn in the student section. i was so sick that i could barely walk, but i toughed it out. i knew it was worth every second when Upchurch caught that pass.

#2 2007 vs Arkansas... saban's first big win, TD pass with :08 left to win it, McFadden had 200+, and actually one of the only two games i've ever gotten to go to with my Dad.

i was also at 2009 vs USC with my mom when ingram had his "Heisman Drive".... that was great.

My favorite isolated moment at a Bama game was when Javier Arenas ran that punt back against LSU in 07. It was sheer euphoria in all directions.
