Who is your preferred opponent in SEC championship

I stayed out of this thread because I didn't like the question - and I'm certainly not going to read 8 pages worth of comments.


Still, I have decided to answer the question...



Who is my preferred opponent in the SEC Championship Game?

Whoever else deserves to be there as the best team(s) in the SEC. I don't want Alabama to luckily or accidentally back our way into anything; I want us to earn it!

Not sure who I would rather play if we beat Auburn but I lean UGA. I don't want to see Marcel Reed running all over us

Not going to lie, don’t want to face bama and most Georgia fans with any sense would say the same

Too many people banged up.

The RB that ran for 120 yards last meeting, banged up

3 offensive lineman, including the center. We just played 3 freshman on the line most of the game against tech. With no time to heal, that’s a recipe for disaster

i have to say, after watching the games today and assuming we win tomorrow, i am not worried at all about facing a and m or georgia.

I think UGA is the better draw for us but I’m basing that solely on the psychology that’s going on with Kirby just not being able to slay this demon.

I also think this could possibly help springboard us up into a really good Playoff seed.

Texas A&M now has a blemish without us even facing them.

If we can beat UGA that has to bump them behind us with us potentially at 11-2 SEC Champs and them potentially being 10-2 losing to us twice.

OU could lose to LSU and either BYU or TTU is going to take a loss and Ore could lose to Wash.

So we could maybe get to 11-2 SEC Champs and jump at least 4 spots to around 6th

But then we are compared to 11-1 OM and 11-1 A&M who didn’t make the SECCG

So would the committee rank 2 non league champs who finished 3rd-4th ahead of the Champion? How would they justify it?

They could still punish us for the FSU game I guess.

But with the right amount of Chaos we could get as high as 4th now IF we can beat AU and UGA.

Even without the chaos I think we can get a 5-6 Seed at 11-2 SECC and have the 1st round rd game vs a 11-12 Seed.

Fingers Crossed we finish strong.
