This is the correct answer IMHO These three men, in their eras, were best of the best and did amazing things on the field.

But, it makes you think about all the greats we've had and continue to have. Keep the LB-U tradition alive!

Lee Roy had 30 tackles against Oklahoma in a bowl game. I would call that taking over a ball game.

The film of him tackling from sideline to sideline was astounding.

Perhaps it should be the ten best Alabama Linebackers of all time! We can look at those who had long NFL careers and conclude that they certainly belong on the list. Ranking players over several eras is a difficult task at best.

I remember watching a Monday night game with the Cowboys playing the Dolfins. And Howard Cosell ( hear that voice in your head ) was bragging about how Larry Czonka love to get outside and run over small OLBs. As he spoke, Czonka got outside and Lee Roy came up and hit him head on. Lee Roy knocked him out.
