Who?

Troy State, only because they would only have 1 day to heal and prepare. Other than that Ole Sis.

Don't care...I personally think that while Troy is a good >>>

team, but Mizzu is wayyyyy overrated! I watched every down of that game and it appeared to me that the supposed QB for Mizzu who was supposed to be this Heisman challenger was actually crap! They rattled his cage and he couldn't respond! Also, the Mizzu defense was a sieve! They were so easily run over that they looked like a high school team out there.

Finally, Mizzu got really cocky after those two first series of theres and when Troy punched them in the mouth, couldn't get off of their stool and back in the ring...they threw the towel in and quit.

Jim Dunaway on NBC 13 Sports last night said, "Tonight, Troy did NOTHING to help schedule a future game with Alabama or Auburn."

Great statement. Troy was very impressive. Their D looked great. The QB from Mizzou was supposed to be a Heisman candidate, and they were all over him. That campaign is over.

Yeah, if I am scheduling games, I'm not gonna schedule Troy. Hopefully, the days of Bama losing to those type teams (Northern Illinois, Central Florida, LA Tech) are over, but imagine if Bama were to schedule Troy and lose. Don't do it. Keep sceduling true cupcakes if you are looking for a cupcake. If you want to schedule a tough team like OU or UCLA, do it, but don't schedule what you think is a cupcake, only to have it bite you in the A double S.

Mizzou is my 2nd favorite team (leaps and bounds behind the Tide) and they got dealt with last night. Troy St completely outplayed them. But don't bash Brad Smith, cause it's not his fault the coaches aren't letting him run like he has the last 2 years. He is a terrific player and Christian that may not have played well last night, but could make a team like Vandy able to be in any game.

Mizzou screwed up because they didn't have a decent game plan. They should have been able to line up in the I and run the ball against Troy, but they kept trying to pass play after play after play... sadly, it reminded me of BAMA in '03.

if they would have made an attempt to run the ball and keep Troy's SS and LBs honest, the passing game probably would have opened up. it looked to me like Mizzou was ill-prepared and also manhandled at a couple of positions on the O-Line. Ware was too fast for the guy that was covering him and the Mizzou center looked completely out of shape. They really looked bad against Troy.

what jdpas said....

It was amazing that Mizzou's coach was only 2-20 (I guess now 2-21) when trailing at halftime. That statistic is a VERY GOOD barometer for a coach that can be seen on paper, probably even better than overall w-l numbers, as it indicates ability to adjust and coach in a 15 minute spread.... In the game, I did not see any major changes after halftime, when Mizzou was obviously not motivated enough to be there...

It would be good for Mizzou to move on from this coach, most likely...
