Muschamp for Miles?:p_eek:

Actually, I hear Kirk Ferentz has been offerred the UM job...but don't think he'll take it. I have NEVER thought UM would come after Miles, though...and still don't. Brian Kelly is their man.

Yeah- Unlike most on here and other boards, I think UM is looking in other directions. I think Miles stays at LSU. I think Tubby stays at the barn too even though aTm might give him a look-see.
As for Muschamp, I could see him going to LSU if Pelini leaves.
Definitely some interesting goings-on.
Was over on the aTm boards and Ole Siss boards, read some funny stuff. Amazing coaching candidate sightings are taking place at both schools/places. LOL!!!:rolleye2::biggrin2:

These suspensions are probably fairly accurate - but ya never know -

I'll never forget the chuckels we all had when: during one of the many coaching searches Bama had going on recently - that Mr Phelps & Paul Bryant flew the plane out to Idaho to check on one of the concrete businesses, then within a day or 2 they had to go to Texas to check on another. Well - the internet was running wild with all that - we all but had hired Mack Brown, according to forums - it was hystierical to read that stuff. Another time when those 2 (who are partners in business ventures all over the country) went to a wedding - that track was spotted, reported, & voila - the news ran rampid.

Not saying there's no fire here where ya see smoke, but just hold on before you get too excited - there's so much that goes on with all this - your head would spin...
I have no doubt that Pellini will at LEAST interview with Nebraska...as for the other flight? Who knows, maybe BT's right.

Maybe for a blanket party :)

No, not Muschamp for Miles :D . Not what I meant. I meant that I would not accept a position at LSU until the Michigan job is settled. Anyone can "think" what they want about whether Michigan wants Miles or not; but, until it's concrete, I wouldn't risk leaving a good job for one that may not actually be there in a few weeks if Miles were to end up going to Michigan.

Does anyone else think Nebraska is making a mistake hiring Pellini? At least Callahan had experience, Pellini is a green horn and a huge risk for Nebraska.

Yes, I agree...although I think Pellini is a good DC. I wouldn't want him to take Miles' place should Miles leave.

I hear Fran loves Death Valley and always dreamt of having Orgeron as a DC.
:p_evil::p_evil::p_evil: NOT FUNNY!!:p_lol:

I'd be surprised if Nebraska hires a big name, take charge, kind of head coach.
They'll probably hire someone that will do as Osbourne wishes and be molded into his style of coaching.

they had that coach 3,4,5 years ago didn't they---Solich
Bet they wish they still had him, too. He's my answer to all the LSU fans who want Miles to leave after losing to Arky.:p_lol: None of them can give me a reasonable replacement for Miles...they just all of a sudden want him to go to Michigan.:p_eyes:

When I say he's my answer to those fans...I mean I wouldn't want LSU to make the same mistake Nebraska did by letting Solich go just because he didn't instantly win championships like his predecessor had done. They let him go even though he was a winning coach, and have gone down since.

Ive been saying that Tubbs will end up at LSU
I hate to burst your bubble, but not even LSU would be willing to take in Tubbs. It would set their program back to the Dinardo days. Wait until Saban gets in the recruits that Alabama would have normally gotten (and Tubbs feasted on for 5-7 years) had it not been for probation, and everyone will see Tubby for what he really is. Remember the Wizard of Oz? There was no wizard, just a man behind a curtain. Tubby is the man behind the curtain.

I heard from somewhere that Muschamp was possible for the Ole Miss job.
