You can have all kinds of self confidence and not be a braggart and prima donna.
These kids are having fun. Ryan is only 17. We went through a period of players with bad attitudes and issues. I think it affected the team as a whole. They didn't seem to be having fun. But this team today is having fun. I think it has helped recruiting, as recruits notice the positive attitudes. If they want to puff out their chests a bit, I don't care. They're ready to play and show what they can do.

FWIW, I only meant to compare RW to JJ except in the type of hype that surrounded his recruitment.
to be fair, and to paraphrase, he said he was always rolling with the Tide, he just wanted to look around a little when Nick retired. No other school ever changed his mind. Also, Williams was 15-16 years old during most of his recruitment, so maybe a little immaturity for someone that found HS stardom at such a young age .

Red MOrgan would be my pick, I am also interested in how Okoronkwo progresses. I don’t think he will be a breakout this year, but I think but November we could see a contribution here and there. In two years, though , he may be a star.
