will Brodie

That really depends on how well this corp of young receivers develop. We have a plethora of tight ends and I would love to see some one back sets with two tight ends and two wide outs. How long has it been since we had a great tight end?
I think between Tyrone Protho, Matt Caddell, and Antonio Carter (plus one or two of the true Freshman) that we will be just fine..... And Brodie will break the record!!!!

I agree that a receiving TE and the receivers you named could easily have him surpassing that record of 16. Even more importantly, playing in all games. Hey, would SEC Championship and Sugar be part of the Tally? :p_conf:

We've had some TE's with great ability, but for some reason, we neglect them in the passing game. Terry Jones, Jr. was stud and a real wrecking ball after he caught the ball, but he seldom saw the ball. Same with Rod Rutledge, a big target with super hands, but was mainly used as a blocker.

I'm hoping Coach Shula and Coach Rader will involve our TE's more in the passing game.

If the o-line doesn't play very well

if he stays healthy, he will shatter all of Alabama's QB records except the rushing ones.
then brodie might just break the rushing records :)

just kidding...so sue me? i hope gallion's not reading this post!

I agree with the idea that Brodies season depends alot on the O-line. Brodie has to have time to check is progression of receivers. The O -line has to hold their blocks and get those holes open for the ground game. I think alot of this season hinges on the O-line and the D-line. :BigA:

well we wont know the answer to this one, he was on the road to breaking it though.
Now that Darby and Brodie is out, I really hope everyone steps up. We need a bowl this year, and a good recruiting class. We are close people, We need some good accidents(turnovers) to happen our way like today, and we are on the way....

well this is AC's last season, his career has really been a shame. But the young guys are very good. Brodie will have plenty of time to rehab before next season and I think he will destroy all the UA passing records. I look for Brodie to have 2,500 yards and 20 TD's next season. I know that may sound high to a lot of people, but I know he is capable of that if he stays healthy.
