It won't be his regular position but I have a feeling we'll see him lined up at QB on occasion with his "Uno" package.

He won't be a traditional quarterback by any stretch, but he will almost certainly get some snaps under center in the Uno package.

What in that video makes you think he is an ambidextrous passer?
They say he is?
It looks like he throws from each side in the video, which was impressive.

I think we've had a lot of discussions on the board about a running threat at QB and who might be able to run a set of plays built around that. I think even Jimmy Johns came up, then you had Fanuzzi and even Star. I think the uno package with Burton is the most likely chance we have of seeing a run oriented QB situation. It could give Alabama a lot more diversity. I hope JPW doesn't struggle but if he does bringing in Burton could give Alabama some options and may be a way of invigorating the offense when it needs it.

Where ever there's BBQ, Bourbon & Football
This kid could bring an entire new dimension to our offense. He's a pretty dang accurate passer considering he's not what many would label a "protypical passing qb". He could line up at qb for more than just one play at a time. We could use him for three or four plays in a row.

Tons of possibities to our offense with this kid on the field. I know CNS will use his talents wisely.

Reminds me of one of the all-time great post game interviews. After a great game, N.C. State b-ball star Charles Shackleford gets grabbed by a reporter for an impromptu interview on the court and it goes something like this:

Reporter: Charles, how did you get that last shot off?

Charles "Genius" Shackleford: I can go to my right or my left, I'm amphibious.

Like, for instance, Burton fakes an end-around to Maze, fakes a QB run to the right, then hits J.Jones in stride for a 60 yd TD?

Has any college team outside of southern Cal had so many offensive weapons??

That's hilarious!

Back in my competitive tennis days I played against a guy in several tournaments down in Florida who could hit equally well with either hand. It gave him a big advantage when serving and you never knew if he was going to hit a forehand or backhand. It was bizarre.
