BAMA will play Duke tomorrow night at 6pm. Oklahoma took down Duke 9-1 in six innings.

Going to the top of the 4th, all tied up at 1 against Duke. Blue Devils only in their 8th year as a program and first ever trip to OKC.

He has been at all of the World Series since becoming AD. I only remember seeing him at one game this year and that was the last Region game.

I’m hoping we face FLA tomorrow as we know them well. Looking back at the regular season series in TitleTown, Beaver gave up ZERO earned runs in 2 starts- She shut them out on Sunday and lost 0-2 on Friday night with two unearned runs.
That Saturday game was ugly 6 errors- 11-2 loss as Jaala Torrence got hit hard early and Briski was harshly introduced to SEC play.
It would be pretty sweet to beat the Gators and be the final SEC squad remaining on Sunday night.

Great win last night, but I sure wish we could find a way to score a few more runs. I'm pretty glad we have two really good pitchers. Just wish we could find a way to string together a few hits.

I guess if I had to “pick my poison” I would choose the Gators for an elimination game tomorrow. The devil that you know is often better than the devil don’t.

That is the thing. Pitching and defense carries you only so far. Everyone else is playing a “blip and a blast” game and we’re the “get them on, get “em over, and hopefully get “em in” game. It’s going to take more than 2 runs a game to advance any further.

I didn’t realize it at the time, but we were losing possibly our best clutch hitter and Big Bopper when Catcher Marlie Giles went down with a broken arm in March?April? She’s been great.

I was a little surprised by the low scoring 1-0 win by the Sooners over UCLA. I really thought Okie had a big offensive production edge going in. Those UCLA girls played their tails off, especially in the circle.

Looks like it will be old foe Tim Walton and the fighting Lady Gators to face our ladies tomorrow unless Texas collapses. They just mentioned UF hasn’t been in the semifinals since 2017- that run they had from 2014-2017 was incredible.

Texas ain’t messing around tonight. It seems they know the pitch location even before the Gator pitchers release it. And they aren’t missing when they pull the trigger.
