The women’s soccer team beat Duke 3-2, and is headed to the Final Four in Cary, North Carolina. That’s in the Research Triangle, kind of near Raleigh.

Single-Elimination Semi Finals on December 2. Finals on December 5.

Congratulations, ladies!! Pioneers for sure.

Wow, the game ran the full gamut of emotions. Up 2 goals only the concede 2 quick goals in the 70+ minute mark forcing overtime. Congrats to the ladies, Coach Hart, and everyone else associated with the program. Will face tomorrow's UCLA/Virginia winner.

I have always been interested in that. People don't quite realize how an opening goal can change the course of a game.

The goalie for UNC women's team is the granddaughter/daughter of good friends of ours...had no clue until yesterday. I feel for her as she and UNC did all but close this out...UCLA scored with 14 seconds to go to tie it up.
