Would you prefer Lane Kiffin to coach Bama over KD?

This what-have-you-done-for-me lately crap is beyond annoying. The program could’ve been irreparably damaged by CNS’ departure and the mass portal exodus of bag-chasers like Downs and Bond among others. CKD managed to keep a patchwork team with erratic QB play in contention for much of the season. In year 2 he beat 4 ranked teams in a row, including 2 on the road and has the team on the cusp of the SECCG and the CFP in the face of by far the toughest schedule in the top 25 - all with a roster still not entirely his own. Recruiting is going well with emphasis on areas of weakness (OL, RB). Oh, and he’s 2-0 against Kirby Smart. This is in a conference that is actively screwing his program via scheduling and officiating and a CFP committee that clearly wants them out if at all possible and during an age of NIL and the portal that has created more parity than ever. Yes, I still want us to win every game and the CFP every year, but I think CKD has handled following Saban as well as anyone could have.

Now then, let’s open up a case on Orbun tomorrow. RTR.

That Hoe NO… CKD is a man of integrity and commitment not a spoiled brat who uses people and things to make him look good to others….NO TO THE HOE and yes Kiffy I will follow you into the club house and say it to your face
 
Kiffin's risk-reward complex is not well developed. He has under achieved imo at OM. He could have won more games in prior years just by punting and playing defense. He coaches the way he lives imo. He is Tin Cup.

You dont let a guy like that become the face of the most successful college program of all time...

One thing that would get very annoying for nearly everyone in terms of Kiffin is his mouth and tweets. Seriously ask Auburn and Tennessee fans what drove them the most crazy about Gus and Butch and if they were honest it would be all the crap they said that blew up in their face and how rival fans constantly threw it back at them. “Champions of life”, “Auburn fast”, and “brick by brick” to name a few.

Kiffin constantly steps in it like with the “grab your popcorn” thing… he just doesn’t have a fan base that really cares that much about football that he is leading.
 
I really don’t like this question at all for a whole host of reasons. So I won’t even entertain this hypothetical.

CKD is our coach, and has done a great job so far under difficult transitional circumstances. I expect better things in the future as he continues to retool the team to what fits his schemes. Right now, he’s playing with great players sure, but not the type of players he would necessarily prefer. Next year, and especially in 2027, we’ll start to see more of what he is capable of.

CLK is a great coach also, particularly as an offensive and playcalling guru. He and Sark are master artists and we were lucky to have them as OC. But neither are my team’s coach.
 
I go back and forth on Lane.

But usually just as I think he’s turned a corner on maturing his inner privileged immature frat boy comes out.

Yesterday he had an altercation with a reporter based on the guy saying Kiffin was a ‘Hoe’ who couldn’t be made into a Housewife.

Kiffin (who was surrounded by State Troopers mind you) came up on the guy and said “You wanna call me a Hoe… come in here and say it and let’s see how that goes”.

No thanks.

Keep you emotions together in public and represent your University with some class.

Have fun at Ole Miss or LSU or wherever but not Alabama.
