Thread reminds me of my first true love in high school who said, "I don't care if we lose every game as long as we beat Auburn."

All I'm concerned about is for Bama to win championships. I don't have the energy to even care if Auburn keeps theirs or not.

Personally, I think it's a pretty big feather to have three straight national titles from the state of Alabama.

On Finebaum today, it was stated that most Bama fans would rather have Auburn's Championship taken away from them. I find that hard to believe.

I think it's a ridiculous notion. Who in their right mind wouldn't take the national title? Denying Auburn a national title in 2010 would have been sweet in that we'd be denying them a win by proving superiority on the field, but winning it ALL is much, much sweeter. And simply having Auburn's title stripped from them doesn't even fit into the former category. It makes no sense.

im gonna say something that might go against the grain....i will take a national title anyway (legally of course) that bama can get it....even if it meant pulling for auburn to upset a team higher ranked than alabama because bama had one loss or something. I am obsessed with alabama becoming the national champion and i don't care how its done and i don't care about auburns title in the 2010 i would prefer it to stay in the sec...not because of some homer attitude or i believe that the barners would return the favor (actually my best friend who is a barner pulled for alabama...heck, a doctor i go to see whos son goes to auburn pulled for bama) but because the sec winning it is power and i believe it helps in bcs situations like this year for alabama, we got a rematch with a team from our own division...call me crazy.. thats fine. But ill admit it..i rooted for auburn to win in last years title game and i have no issue saying that...i don't want bama to get shafted like they did in 66 or 77 and the sec winning it helps that in my opinion.....do i dislike auburn, you better believe it....but them losing isn't as high on my priorities as alabama winning the national title.

Me, too, to everything StoneCold just said. Give me the 14th or 15th or more. Justice will catch up with the barners. In the meantime, it helps us when the SEC wins and that means rooting for Auburn in bowls. I'm not a hater. Well, maybe a smidgeon of a hater.
