After a nice 3-1 win over the Gators in the home finale, I was hoping we'd be able to improve our SEC tourney seeding in Nashville yesterday, but a 1-0 lead turned into a 3-1 defeat in the last 15 minutes.
That means (from what I can tell) we'll be the 9, 10, or 11 seed and play this coming Sunday. Finishing the regular season 2-3-5 is probably not going to make anyone happy, BUT we've shown flashes where we can compete with anyone. Just the consistency with the defense and GK has been a struggle. Junior Gianna Paul scored her 12th goal of the year yesterday and has been fantastic. Here's to making a run and winning a couple in Pensacola and maybe? improving the RPI enough to sneak into the NCAAT.
