Firehouse is pretty good. One other place I enjoy is Jason's Deli, they pile on the meat. However I miss a good Roast Beef Nawlins Po Boy dressed! Man that bread with the juice kind of soaked in, just thinking about it is enough to make me want to take a trip down to the big easy. There also used to be a sandwich shop across from the Albertson in Mobile on the corner of Airport and Springhill that I remember from my younger days. They would steam the sandwich after fixing it. Man I love sandwiches! :biggrin:

Solomon's in Mobile used to have the very best "steamed sandwiches." Not sure why they stopped serving them.

Firehouse for me. Love the Hook and Ladder and the Engineer subs. Always add mushrooms! I think "Samich" ought to be one of the food groups.
Oh, and their datil pepper hot sauce it PERFECT on raw oysters!
GrandBayTiger - if I remember right, there is a Nawlins Po Boy in Gulfport on the casino waterfront. You're right, that's a FINE po boy!

I Don't Have a Favorite Sub Shack.

I don't have a favorite sub shack but I do have a favorite sub. The CUBAN is my favorite. It is hard to find but it is the best.
