Took my family to my old stomping grounds in CA a few weeks ago. Knocked out Fresno, Yosemite, Monterey, San Simeon, Morro Rock, LA, and Disneyland.

Have a good friend who lives in Morro Bay. I know him through the Honda VFR Interceptor crowd.

California is one of the most beautiful states in the country.

My boys couldn't believe it was a real rock, until we got as close as we could to it.

No photo but was at Walmart today to pick up an Rx and ran into two Vietnam Vets and thanked each gentleman for their service.

Then at the Pharmacy counter I mentioned something about how much I appreciate the Walmart pharmacy's efficiency - and anytime the subject comes up I tell folks to come here - and they will get you squared away.

The young lady then asked if I was in the service - because that's a popular military phrase. I asked if she was and she replied US Army - as a pharmacist mate.

So I thanked her for her service as well.

Then at my truck before leaving had a good convo with the cart man about the knuckleheads who don't put their carts away.

We commensurated about that for few a good 5 minutes lol......
