Christian Barmore’s new deal in New England is the largest non-Tom-Brady contract in Patriots franchise history.

The Patriots are making a big bet on Barmore, who has never started in more than six games across a season. His production in 2023, however, meant he was heading toward a sizable payday one way or the other, and New England may have saved some money by preempting his free agency.
The 24-year-old set career highs in tackles (64), sacks (8.5) and tackles for loss (13) last year. He ranked 11th among defensive tackles in ESPN's pass rush win rate (13 percent)

Is this the same guy who stayed at bama, not playing much but developing, doesn't transfer, has a great year, gets drafted, now has the coveted 2nd contract. Players now have to realize how true success is achieved
I agree with your premise.

I don’t believe that two 18-year-olds in a hundred will think that way.

I'm curious to see what happens with Waddle in Miami. Negotiations haven't started yet. But should soon.
too soon i think, what year is this for him, remember 1st rounders have a 5 year deal if the last year is picked up.

I still dont get it it. There must be nothing for people to do or watch on TV on Sundays in the fall. I think pretty leaves falling is more appealing than the product that the NFL puts on these days.
