Man I hope so.First time these youngsters have had to play this long a season. It has taken a physical effect on them and they are tired. The rest this week should help not only physically but mentally.
Read on ESPN yesterday, that this year being the #1 seed will be a BIG advantage, as projections have the other brackets being pretty brutal.I was surprised we fought back especially with not much to play for. We pretty much locked up a number 1 seed and I don’t believe being the overall number 2 seed means much.
I second that emotion.I was afraid of this kind of game and they unfortunately delivered...
That should be expected by now if you look at most of the games we played on the road. Not justifying; just stating the facts.28 FTs to 11.
Totally legit
It’s the norm across the sport and makes it borderline unwatchable. What happened today in the last 5 minutes was a travesty. That should be expected by now if you look at most of the games we played on the road. Not justifying; just stating the facts.
How about those charges with the Aggie defender moving the entire time?Well, here's the foul they called on Miller on a 3-pt shot (Aggy made all 3 FTs)
I’m more impressed with the 28 free throws attempts.A&M. 27 of 28 from the free throw line. Very impressive.
Good game Aggies!
Did anyone think we would win 14 in a row to close the season? Better to lose now in a meaningless game and regroupDid this team peak too early or is the off the court stuff had more of an effect than we thought? 3 weeks ago I really believed this team would compete for a national title, or at least a final four trip. Now, if these first half slumps aren’t fixed, I could see us being the first #1 bounced from the tournament.
Hopefully the coming rest will help shake these cobwebs and get things back on track. As far as the off the court stuff goes, I have no answers. I’d have a hard time dealing with it as an adult. I don’t know how you coach up 18-22 year olds to work through it.
