The Barn loses!!!!

I was actually hoping they would win so the game against us would receive more hype. I miss the days of the old Iron Bowls when it was a must see game for the entire nation.

I kinda feel ya...I tried to want them to win tonight. All week, I am sitting there thinking, "You know, Bama's resume would look better beating an Aubie team in the top 25, which is where they will be if they beat UGA." But when I would flip the channel tonight during commercials, I couldnt help but to pull against them.

Oh, and my personal belief here...the iron bowl was a game played in the iron city, at a nuetral stadium with a 50/50 ticket split. Now its just the Bama/Aub game..IMO.

Again depth hurt us. We lost Eltoro Freeman early third quarter. They only had 38 yards russing with him in the game and whatever they wanted with him out. It's amazing the difference one person makes.

You guys are probably tired of hearing it, but the depth issue is killing you guys. All in all, I'd say AU has fared better than I thought they would this season.

All things considered, I would think a 7-5 season for us would be a good. Still hoping all your players get drunk the night before the Iron Bowl. We will need some luck combined with some pixie dust , and maybe some bites from a few radioactive spiders to pull a win out. It could happen..Just sayin.

Most everyone I have seen and even the so called media "experts" had them coming in at 6-6... Not even sure or care what their record is now I just know I want BAMA to put a HUGE loss in their column AGAIN~!~

I know many of us on here, as well as in the media, predicted the depth for AU would hit them hardest down the stretch, and it has. I can't remember what I picked preseason W/L for them, and I'm too lazy to look it up, but in weekly picks, I picked them to lose to WVU and UTee, so thats at least two games they've won against stiffer competition.
But I did think they would beat UGA.

I think I had them picked to lose every game they played or was that what I wanted I can't remember........

Either way I figured they HAD to be better once they got an offensive co-ordinator that KNEW the barn had been recruiting for the better part of 3 decades to be a power running team they would get better results.
Not much to figure out with their offense it is as simple as multiple shifts to try and throw off the defense but in the end it is a handoff to Tate.... WOW
