Need Help with A Bama Dog Name !!!

I used to raise and show dogs. Never gave one a Bama name. We have a pet peacock, a white one named Elvis because he looks like Elvis in his white Vegas costume.

I have a bassett hound named Brodie(the name just fits his look anyway). I would probably go with Cody if I were naming one today.

Here is a Winner - Contesse - Tess for short.
Do you remember the movie "The Barefoot Contessa"
Now she was a beauty!!!!!!!!!!!:BigA::BigA::BigA:

Let us know the winning name.

I vote for "Oz".
Or I would probably go with another classic player name like "Musso"

You could name it Chizik. When ever the dog made you mad you could beta the crap out of it, and tell people you beat the crap out of Chizik.

JUST JOKING PEOPLE!!!! I IN NO WAY ADVOCATE THE ABUSE OF DOMESTICATED ANIMALS!!!

This is an awesome thread! I had a golden retriever named Bama. She passed away a couple of years ago.:frown: She was such an awesome dog, I still miss her. When Alabama games were on and the game was close or we needed to come up with a big play I would call Bama over and rub her belly for good luck. She was our good luck charm. I still remember after we beat Florida in 1999 I attributed the big win to my dog Bama. Good memories!:)

As far as potential names for your pooch I recommend the following:
1) Bama
2) Mount Cody (ironic because you have a small dog)
3) Saban
4) Bear
5) Al

"Miss Terry" for Terry Saban.
Miss Terry is a good one..On a side note..About a year ago a pretty little Mutt just wandered onto our property just about on deaths bed..We decided to keep her & nurse her back to health..We couldn't decide what to name her..So we decided to call he Kitty..So when we call her..We say here Kitty Kitty Kitty..And she comes running with her tongue hanging out..It hilarious..She's a great dog..

Our last Dog (Black Lab) was named Rosie (female). Sadly, she passed away this fall and around Thanksgiving we got a Springer Spaniel (Liver & White - male) and let my 10 year old son name it. He came up with "Heisman". He said he was determined to make sure we had a Heisman in Tuscaloosa in case MI didnt get his due. To be honest, If someone else won the trophy this year, I'd be changing the dogs name despite my son's wishes. One very lucky dog IMO.

Roll Tide!

She needs a female name, forget all the gimmicky Bama related names. Try to choose one that sort of fits her and her personality and is easy to say. I have a Boston Terrier that I named Butch because it just seemed to fit him, it was either that or Mugsy. If he had of been a female, I probably would have went with either Mollie or Maggie.
