Yeah, this is always a good one. What really cracks me up is when one of them says they wish they could stay and live out in the woods with the trees. My question is, well why don't you just do that. They probably left and got into their SUV's with the AC's going wide open and went home.

I started listing pretty hard toward going vegan/vegetarian at the first of the year. So far this year, I've only eaten meat a handful of times, in situations where it was inconvenient not to do so.

Though, I have a hard time with the folks who do this religiously, and especially the vegans who go so far as not eat honey because we somehow burden the poor insects. Hell, my Dad kept bees for decades, and all he robbed was the top shelf of the hive. The bees had plenty to eat after he harvested his take.

And I had to laugh the other day at the grocery store where, in the health food section, they were selling "vegan butter substitute". Upon closer inspection, the label read "100% vegetable oil"......isn't that plain margarine?

I also read where vegans are starting to rate beer as vegan/non-vegan....going so far as the filtration process, which might have some ancillary non-vegan processes. A little much for me.
