I wish I had a really cool first thread topic, but I don't.:biggrin:

I have been trying to read through all the past topics to catch up on the Bama news since last season. A lot to read through!:eek:

I was stunned to read that Arenas went pro....that was a shocker. I was so looking forward to watching him play again this year. *At least I think he had one year left.*

I have spent the last half hour trying to figure out if my verizon internet will allow me to watch this Saturdays game on espn3. Fingers crossed I get it to work.

Anyhow, it's nice to meet ya'll!:biggrin:

I am not as knowledgeable as most are on here, but I love the fact that I can read what ya'll post and seem to be ahead of the game when stuff happens. Not to mention ya'll are friendly.

I have lurked on here for a while. I loved hearing a rumor and being able to run and check here to see if it was legit or not.

I would have posted sooner.....but the suspense of the new season would have killed me!:biggrin:
 
Welcome Heather! Hope you won't be shy; just jump into any thread you find interesting. Vast majority of folks here are very friendly. Other than the occasional (and welcome!) fans of rival teams, we're all pulling for the same team.

Welcome. I do believe Arenas was a Senior last year. I do wish we had him back another year, however.

Arenas is playing great for the Chiefs. 1st Game had KO return for a TD but was called back for a hold. Punt returns are looking good. Even playing some Defense and looking good there. I think he is going to contribute especially on Special Teams. If he can flip the field position for them as he did for us many times maybe the Chiefs can have better season.
