I have not watched Arkansas play yet, but I've seen Auburn, Florida, South Carolina, and LSU. Of those teams, the one I've been most impressed with is South Carolina. They don't have the overall talent that Florida or LSU has, but they seem to be playing better than both teams. I know that it is only the second week of the season and this may change if Florida can get their feet underneath them by the time they play us, but as of right now South Carolina looks the best of our remaining opponents.

I agree that of the first 2 games South Carolina has played the best team ball of the ones you mentioned. I believe the difficulty will lay again in an upset bid like last year( Tn,Aub) the games against those guys don't always seem to come down to talent, I just can't see a team on their schedule that is "expected" to be tough beating them.

It's almost too early to have this discussion, but I'd say USC will be our toughest conference opponent. If UF doesn't improve drastically in the next few games, and I doubt that they will, I'd also say that if we make it to Atlanta again this year, we'll be meeting with the 'cocks for the second time.

I've always heard if you beat the 'cocks twice in one season you'll go blind.

It sure would be fun to find out, I'd like to see Florida not make the conference title game.

Arky, USC, LSU, and UF. Florida is the schizo team and dangerous. We still don't know how good they are. Arky is good enough to give our secondary fits (see last nights game). USC is the overall best out of those four right now (see Arky comments), with big physical wide receivers. That could change next week, but right they appear to be clicking on all cylinders and are a balanced, physical team. LSU is still solid, imo, despite some of their snafoos and less than awe-inspiring performances. They will play us hard.
None of them will be a cake-walk.
And the last poster mentioned complacency. I agree...this team needs to stay hungry. We are loaded, loaded all around. But they cannot get complacent and expect to win with this schedule.

South Carolina looks to be the best in my opinion. Second place is a tie between Florida and Arkansas. Both of those teams have some problems that if corrected by the time we play them could be very difficult for us to overcome if we are not on top of our game.

USC looked good yesterday, dominating UGA much worse than the score. How about Steve Spurrier playing old fashion, ball control, smash-mouth football? Who'd thunk that 10 years ago? The timing of the USC game makes it as dangerous as the opponent. USC has Furman next week, then auburn, then a bye week.

I still give Bama the edge (they looked very good last nite), but USC is capable of winning the game if Bama doesn't bring everything.

Haven't you guys heard? Camputer is the opponent we need to fear. Sitting in the stands next to barners at a high school game the other night, I got an education. Cam will win the Heisman and Auburn will compete for a BCS title.
