Big 'Dre was is the most impressive Freshman I've ever seen..As soon as he walked on Campus..He was the best Player on the team & the best Player at his position in the Nation..To do what he did his Freshman year as an O-Lineman & dominate like he did in the trenches..Is unheard of..He was a once in a lifetime Talent..Big 'Dre gets my vote..JMO

Kerry Goode was a great freshman rb and wasn't Jim Bunch the first freshman to start on the OL at a time where we had a ton of talent.

wilcox more than held his own on that team. in those days if coach bryant started you as a freshman you were a not too shabby football player.
