Most unusual place to see Alabama fans...

I was wondering what is some of the most random places ya'll have seen fellow Tide fans? I was on the way back from Amman, Jordan 2 days ago and saw one at the airport, which we actually later sat next to each other on the plane to London. He lived in Huntsville.

HSV people are the biggest globe-trotters in the state. It's the way we make a living...

In the spring of 2007 (2008?), I ran into two Bama fans from Montgomery in La Gitane bar in Bayeaux, France.

I recently flew from Cleveland, OH. to Houston, TX. back to Bham. I was wearing an Alabama polo shirt and got a "Roll Tide" nine times between the Cleveland and Houston airports. Nine times!

I do some volunteer work in the Colonial Williamsburg area and frequently see a Bama hat, jersey, etc. I'll usually share a low-key "Roll Tide!" with 'em.

I sometimes give a cheerful "Roll Tide!" to the folks wearing Auburn, Tennessee, LSU, or Florida gear. :biggrin2:

Barcelona, Spain for me. Living in South Florida, though, it is nice when I see other Bama tags.

saw a couple of fans in the dubai airport earlier this week. and last year when i went through there talked to a gentleman from dothan (i believe) who was wearing an alabama hat.

Last week while I was in the Greek islands, I saw a guy wearing a Bama shirt from a distance and could not get over to him to speak. I didnt have any Bama gear on at the time, but he would have seen me the next day or two wearing a Bama shirt to the beach.........

I have seen Bama fans from Paris to Iraq!

Of course since I have been all over Europe and the Middle East recently, I am sure someone has seen me wearing Bama gear all over the world.

I was in Madagascar, in the Indian Ocean on a state department job at the
U.S. embassy when I saw a young man about 20-25 years old standing on the
corner wearing a BAMA hat. Started talking but he could not speak english and
I could not speak his language. I pointed to his hat and he said (I think) "BAMA".
He then got in a car and was gone.....

2004 while in Honduras on a cruise, was wearing an Alabama Football T-shirt and got "Roll-Tide"d by some of the local villagers several times. In San Francisco - 2007, saw several people on the plane, in the airport and at Hard Rock Cafe with Bama gear. In Disney World last year, too many people sporting Bama gear to keep track of.

No matter where you go all around this globe, you'll find Bama football fans.

Tel Aviv airport and Old City Jerusalem where a shopkeeper has Bama signs up (his brother is a UA grad). Tried to post picture of his shop but didn't work out.

I went to New York City and to DC back in November and got a few Roll Tides from folks in the areas. I was wearing my houndstooth cap, which has the Alabama A on it. And yes I was surprised, might be hope for the folks North of the Mason-Dixon line yet.

January 2009 in the middle of Merida, Mexico...my wife and I were riding Segways, stopped on a corner and a car full of Mexican Bama brothers hung out the window yelling "Roll Tide!" as they turned the corner. Bama fans are everywhere.

Two summers ago I saw some Bama Fans in the Palace of Versailles, in France.
