Define "lived". I'm assuming vacations don't count, but where is the line between a vacation and living? One month, three months, six months, a year?

Because I spent six weeks and a month in Japan and Ghana, respectively...neither of which was a "vacation" per se.

I've also lived in Oxford for about four years now. Sometimes it feels like a different country (or a different planet) entirely. :biggrin2:

No... but I spent a little over a month in Bangkok Thailand, in 2005, it was wonderful, and cheap. Then one Dollar = 47 Baht, I stayed in a 4 star hotel, and got a free breakfast bar every morning, that was awesome. It cost me $550 for the month! Now it's about 30 Baht to a Dollar. I hope to go back, maybe in a few years, if it's affordable.

I guess you could say I 'lived' in Vietnam twice, and for a year each time. Not a happy experience either time. But I absolutely loved 'living in' Bangkok during my R&R's. If I remember correctly, their Baht was worth either 4 or 5 cents US, so my luxury hotel suite, complete with meals, drinks and 24 hour limo service with driver, cost me only a couple of dollars per night. :biggrin2:

I've lived in Texas also, but back then it was still part of the US.

I lived in Puerto Rico for 4 years. My wife and I just got back from a visit, which was the first time back on the island since I left in '79.

I lived in Germany for 3 years, Italy for 3 years, Kirkuk Iraq for 1 year, and Baghdad for 1.3 years. Germany was my fave.
