Game Thread: Arkansas vs LSU

If we don't take care of a pretty pathetic Auburn team tomorrow, nothing that happens today or that happened last week really matters.

It's going to be LSU, and it was always going to be LSU. They are far and away better than Arkansas, just like we are. The only chance Arkansas had - to catch LSU sleep walking - they have squandered.

Other than Matthieu, it's a pretty likable team.

Not a fan of Jefferson, or Ware (can't believe none of the announcers said anything about the swing he took at the Arky defender in the first half.) And I like Les, and a lot of their fans, but not most of their fans.

For me, it's hearing some of their fans over the past few weeks. You would think they destroyed us in our game, instead of being fortunate to win in OT. But, to the victors go the spoils. I do like Les, and think he's good for the SEC and college football in general. None of their players really grate on my nerves like Matthieu though.

Did y'all here Brando trying to find a way to get Bama out of the number two spot and get Okie St. back in? Sorry Timmy they had their chance and they threw up on themselves against IOWA ST. They lost to Iowa St. Tim. C'mon man!!

I don't like Jefferson, Ware, or any of the other players who have been suspended. I don't like their punter or their kicker, who constitute the most obnoxious special teams crew in history. I don't like their coaching staff, their fanbase, their logo, or their color scheme. I especially don't like their message board.

In short, I respectfully disagree.

Is your Bama daughter the one w/ the shoulder pads and rifle who was in your prior avatar?
No, that's the fair-weather fan who tends to like Auburn, but will really just pull for whomever is winning. I keep telling her she has to choose, Alabama or Auburn, but she refuses. She marches to the beat of her own drum, that one. :) I haven't given up on her.

Seperated at last:) It was bound to happen
We actually do better not watching together. This is the first year we've sat apart, although there have been years one of us would end up sitting in the seats and the other would end up migrating down the aisle to stand against the rail. :biggrin2:
