Game Thread: Oklahoma - Oklahoma State

And yet we led them in the computer polls this week, and were #2 in both human polls.

Can they jump us? Yes, it's possible?

Is it likely? No.

Should we be constantly crapping a game thread worrying about it? No.

I'm not crapping about it. Myself, I don't see it happening, just saying for some reason the computers love osu this year. Do I think they can jump us? They can but I think it is unlikely. I think alot of people on here just wanted ou to win to remove all doubt. well, ou has just pooped themselves all night...

I am tired of hearing we had our chance. Sure we lost by 3 in overtime to the best team in the country. But to sit and watch a team like OSU possibly jump us with a horrible loss to ISU is going to be sickening. I hope the voters remember who they thought we the best two teams last week. RTR

The biggest thing that will save us is the fact that Oklahoma State almost has to be a unamimous #3 in all the human polls. That means they have to pass Stanford. I just dont see every voter thinking they are better than Stanford. We still have A LOT of hope.

Oh, we've got plenty of hope. The knee jerk reaction to this tonight is bad, but it'll be a close deal tomorrow and we'll see. You'll not convince me Ok State is anywhere near LSU or us. They'll get blown out if they go, and they'd get blown out if we played them. That seems pretty obvious to me, and hopefully it will to the voters.

Just joining this thread again, so forgive me if this has been posted,,,,but HOW IN THE WORLD is OU ranked #10 in the nation?

Okie St. lost to a 4 loss Iowa St. team. Enough said. Sooners got torched by Texas Tech and Baylor. Beating them isn't too much to brag about.

This is my fear. Honestly, if I am a voter watching this game, it would be hard not to vote OSU #2. (especially with them being conference champions)

As I type this, I'm 99% certain Bama's going to get jumped. There's too much anti-SEC, anti-Alabama, anti-rematch bias out there and this blowout gives them just enough of an excuse.

In the end, if I'm right it will hurt, but Bama can't complain. Our fate was in our hands and we let it slip away.

I don't know...how could someone watch this game and not see that OU has no business being #10? They don't even look like a Top 25 team. Not taking anything away from OSU, but OU didn't get off the bus, and it just seems to further point to that conference being very overrated.

Like someone mentioned earlier, with the Iron Bowl long forgotten, today's schedule makes it look like LSU blowout and OSU blowout are leading these two teams to the NC game. If the Bama blowout was happening today then things would look differently to many of the voters. I really did not expect OU to play this bad.

OU is throwing this game. It could only be more obvious if we saw Danny Sheridan's bag man on the sidelines.

I want to know who these BCS top 25 teams are that Ok State touts as wins. Texas? Texas has a losing conference record. This Oklahoma team is playing like Ole Miss. Baylor? Baylor wouldn't win 7 games in the SEC, RG III or not. Texas A&M can't be one right? They're 6-6.

I just can't see how Ok State's schedule or the Big 12 is so tough.

I agree....but, man(woman :))....this really hurts our future this post-season....
