Walking Dead...... (some spoilers)

In the comics, the zombies are her boyfriend and a friend of his. She's removed their arms and jaws to eliminate their threat.

This is where it takes imagination to make this story work. The undead have a hunger for fresh meat, is it desire or hunger? If they NEED to consume to remain undead and not dead dead then once their jaws are removed they should eventually die because they would be unable to feed. Shouldnt eventually the undead die from starvation if they need to feed?

Good question, but here's an interesting bit about the character:

Both in shackles and having had their jaws and arms cut off, Michonne mentions that after a while they stopped trying to attack her and their presence decreased the chances of other zombies attacking

Best episode, in my opinion.

Showing how the zombies got to the farm from following the helicopter, to the gunshot where Rick killed Shane....

Losing the farm

The revelation of Jenner's words at the CDC

Rick, throwing down the gauntlet

Great episode

Also from what Ive seen online at various places Merle is coming back to the show.

Gut feeling, Merle is going to be a member of "The Governor's" camp. No rumors, just personal opinion.

Just re-reading the the days they are at the prison, Season 3 is going to be the best season yet, and I can't wait.

Im just wondering about Carl and Lori's reaction to Rick telling them he killed Shane. Didnt Lori kinda hint she wanted him dead. Apparently she cared more about Shane than what she was letting on. I imagine seeing Carl taking it as bad as he was is what caused Rick to go off and telling everyone to go if they felt they could do better.

I agree with you. This is why I can't wait till they kill Lori off.

I agree with you. Lori wanted Rick to confront Shane with the chance that Shane would kill Rick and that Carl, Lori and Shane become a family. Lori clearly did not count on Rick "manning up" and killing Shane. Rick now knows that Lori has been behind Shane the whole time, hence the reason why Rick declaration that the group was no longer a democracy, but a dictatorship, or in this case Ricktatorship. This is why Lori's death cannot come soon enough for me.

Umm...not quite.

Tonight I am in a mood to respond to everything. Unfortunately I have never seen the show and have nothing to contribute to the conversation.

I do plan on watching the first season on Netflix once I finish up Sons of Anarchy.

It's clear by her reaction of Rick's confession that she had the wrong dog in the hunt. I am literally counting down the days till Lori is off the show.

That's what the 8 of us at our watching party assumed too. Maybe we were all wrong, but what else could have been inferred from her reaction?

Obviously, Carl was just upset one of his friends died, and that it came at the hands of his father, he doesn't understand everything that went on behind the scenes between Rick, Shane and Lori.

The only thing I didn't like about the episode was Rick's speech at the end. Seemed like he was channeling Shane a bit on that one. I understand why he did it, but he was very Shane-ish in his delivery.

Agree, all the way down to sounding like Shane with the accent.

yeah, I think Shane's little rant about being a better man, husband, father and leader had an effect on Rick.
