Saban is on the podium and I've got some partial stats off twitter:

McCarron: 14-29, 160 yards, 3 TDs, 1 INT
Fowler: 22 carries, 151 yards, 3 TDs (68-yard TD in a situational series; probably a 2-min)
White: 5 receptions, 112 yards, 2 TDs (he hasn't participated in the Spring much)
C. Jones: 5 receptions, 61 yards, 2 TDs
Norwood: 4 receptions, 55 yards
C. Black: 2 recpetions, 36 yards

Ely was likely the second QB, Sims didn't throw today.

Fowler had 83 yards minus the 68-yard TD. Without the long run, he was right around 4 ypc which isn't bad considering how we typically stop the run.

He's slimmed up a bit too . Really looks much different than when he was playing ILB during his first Spring at Alabama .

Mandell improving a lot, very nice! Foster still disappointing as always, hopefully he gets better or won't have to play much next season.

looking at the pics from tidesports, brent calloway seemed to be working with the offensive players. lack of healthy guys at rb may have moved him over for the day.

He was moved over to take a try at H-back on Monday. Only report I have heard thus far is that he did not look very good on Friday at HB. He had on two practices before the scrimage so I am not sure how much they would have been able to tell that quickly.

He was H back with the two's. Had a reception and fumble. H back with the one's yesterday was Vogler, HJ, and Kelly Johnson. KJ was H for goal line and short yardage.

Meh, I'm not liking this barely over 50% completion trend (Iirc he was just over 50% last scrimmage.)

I know some of it might be situational but still.

I wouldn't read too much into it. AJ had a very high completion percentage last year. No reason to believe it won't be high again this year. They could be working on deep balls or two minute drill so there really is no way to tell.

If one out of every 4 - 5 completions is a TD, I'll take it...

Pedestrian completion ratio + high TD/attempt ratio says to me that there's a high proportion of long passes being attempted. In the end, like twobyc says, if we're getting a lot of TDs (coupled with few INTs) from the passing attack then the results are acceptable.
