One that always irritates me for some reason is the Razorback's cheer after they get a first down. AND THAT'S GOOD ENOUGH FOR AN ARKANSAS....FIRST DOWN!! I figure that just getting the first down is such an accomplishment in itself that that have to cheer about it...
Exactly!!! It also hurts my eyes. Their fans are stupid too, because they like the blue field.I looked up and it just came to me...the blue field.
In 2002, when Alabama beat Arkansas to a pulp in Fayetteville (which seems to be a tradition in itself now), the Alabama fans started hollering "And that's another Arkansas .. FOURTH DOWN!" after the defense kept shutting them down. One that always irritates me for some reason is the Razorback's cheer after they get a first down. You saw through it, forgot to put the. :wink:I'm fairly confident he was being facetious.![]()
You must not realize that our Rammer Jammer derived from the Ole Miss Hotty Toddy cheer.I enjoy going to the Grove, but I will say if Hotty Toddy is the best I could come up with I would probably just give up.
OSU fans were doing that in the independence bowl in 06. I had never seen that before and found it to be not only annoying, but sad.The one I despise the most is the shaking of car keys. I never saw this ridiculosity until I lived up north, so maybe it's a northern thing. I suppose it means "game over, let's go home," but to me it means "I'm such a pansy I can't figure out how to appropriately yell for my team."
Actually I do. Never liked that either. I have always thought it was classless and unsportsmanlike. I usally keep that to myself thoughYou must not realize that our Rammer Jammer derived from the Ole Miss Hotty Toddy cheer.![]()
Not as bad, but no less irritating is Glory, Glory, Hallelujah orver and over and over and over and over and over and over :smile:Rocky Top....over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over...........argh
I wanted to LOL, but then I'd have to explain to my students what I was laughing about. Quite a few of my kids are barn fans, so they wouldn't see the humor. Then, I would have to explain why I'm on a message board during class time (they're taking a quiz) but I take their phones from them.I literally lol'd

I have to agree with you on this point.
