Re: DE/Jack DeMarcus Walker Flips commitment from Alabama to FSU

I always liked Walker and hope that he remains successful at FSU. I hope this doesn't hurt UA's chances with Kain Daub now that Walker isn't coming to UA.

Good points and just like with Jordan Jenkins, we will win with or without Demarcus Walker. Best of luck to him.
I like to have the cake and eat it too! Sure would have won with them over without them.

Re: DE/Jack DeMarcus Walker Flips commitment from Alabama to FSU

I can understand the mother wanting him close to home and he always been a concern for leaving the state of FL. I think Pruitt also helped the situation because of their relationship.

The thing that will draw interest in this is that the owner of Warchant said he has known for 2 weeks now and that they threw out the UF smokescreen. One of our other sites says Sunseri pulled this one off.

Whatever his reasons I wish him luck. If you are not 100% UA than you do not need to be in TTown. Remember we have missed on more high profile recruits than we get and still won 3 of the last 4 NCs. RTR

Enjoy the ACC and away games to historic sites in North Carolina and beyond. It's amazing how well some teams recruit but don't develop the talent.

Then Pruitt is garbage imo. Bama built him and while still on payrole you pull this junk? Pruitt is envolved because it comes exactly after season is over. Owner of warchant said he has known for two weeks!
Don't bash Pruitt... From what I've heard, Pruitt never actively engaged him... DW called Pruitt, because he had a close bond with him. Everything I've read, from both UF and FSU boards, is that Pruitt didn't call out of respect to Coach Saban. Once Walker called him, though, there wasn't anything to do but find him a place at FSU. I wish the kid well. If he's happy with his decision, that's all that matters...

Walker flipping is like taking your hand out of water. Something else comes along to take it's place. We'll be fine.

I agree. This is an excellent class but I would like to see some big names for the trenches( D line).

Yep we need another two or three DL in this class now. Best of luck to Walker; this is always a tough decision for an 18 year old kid. He didn't make a public spectacle out of it or "diss" Bama in any way, so I have no hard feelings for the kid.

Lived with Dad, now lives with Mom. I'm not closing the door on him quite yet...things change.

Dont bash Pruitt?.....well I wont if he was man enough to let Coach Saban know after DW called him about everything, but I bet he was not man enough to tell Coach Saban......What does DW do when Pruitt is gone from FSU when Jimbo throws Pruitt under the bus as soon as things go bad.....

Oh well, both their losses (Pruitt and DW) for leaving Bama....I know Pruitt took a promotion, but sometimes the grass is not always greener, Just ask Sal about that....but I am sure he will find out soon enough.

Who would have thought that Mark Stoops leaving for Kentucky would cost us one of our top recruits. Irony
