Completely different scenario. The team that beat us was undefeated SEC Champ and we were clearly the top 2 teams. Unfortunately those aren't the rules anymore.

Well if auburn loses. We probably need to hope arky to beat ole miss unless MSU picks another sec loss to make the egg bowl something to play for . Idk the commitee might get the final four right or we might pick up some outside help to make us a definite lock. Still a lot of meaningful games before the final four is set in stone, but we need to do our part but Atlanta should be our first goal until we know what to expect.

Well...we can be the loss for MSU. So that would give MSU 1 loss going into the egg bowl. We would go because of head to head against them if they beat Ole miss.

So if Auburn loses..we NEED MSU to beat Ole Miss to make it to Atlanta. If Ole miss wins..they go because of our head to head with them.

Ole Miss still has a tough out with Arky. The matchup is not a good one for Ole Miss. Besides if we beat State and Auburn,then State beat Ole Miss, we'll be 11-1 with the tie breaker favoring us over State. Ole Miss will have 2 losses in the SEC.
