Where were those innovative calls and formations all game long? If you have them in the play book, why wait until your backs are against the wall to run them?

Bah - nevermind. You won, on the road, in the SEC. That is hard to do.

I asked that same question, but then I figured those are the plays you use with your back against the wall.

As I just posted on facebook, somehow I am completely wired and emotionally exhausted at the same time. I am so proud of this team and the way they didn't quit. The only team in that stadium who could beat Bama was Bama. We finally figured that out, and started playing like it. Here's hoping we carry the momentum with us into next week.

Think the Foster hit on Fourneaux (sp) loosened us up a bit and got us fired up. As far as I'm concerned that was the play of the day.

Great win. LSU team earned respect. How good will they be next year? I assume they have most key players coming back since they are considered very yound but I don't know.

That gimmick play as Gary called it was great. Brown needs to make smarter plays. We had it 1st and goal at the one after that play.

He was saying that he didn't hear the whistle, and it was kind of a weird play and they were kind of picking random times to blow the whistle. Bad play on his part, but with how deafening it was in the stadium I can get him not hearing the whistle.

Oh, man. I wasn't keeping up with the game thread, so I may have missed out-- but Gary felt unbearable tonight. I feel he's gotten better lately, but he was irritating some stew tonight.

I generally like him, and he is very knowledgeable, but tonight he was pulling for the big story, and that meant that he was pulling for LSU to upset Ole Miss and Alabama in back to back games. Glad that you disappointed him.

As many Pass Int calls that got let go by these refs for LSU I don't want to hear one damn cry about that last drive. If anything it was offensive PI. So proud of this defense.
