2014 Mississippi State is a poor man's 2009 Florida. I think playing at home against the #1 team in the country will be big. I expect Bama to handle things.

Id be more concerned if Mississippi State was coming in at #10 than #1. The team won't have a focus problem.

I do worry about Prescott's excellent running ability. Even against LSU, we still just simply cannot stop 3rd-down conversions on QB rushes up the middle. It was unreal how often they succeed on this.

That worked until we stopped playing man and went to zone - after that, he got nuthin'.

Prescott's good, but we shut down Tebow, and this offense is similar to UF's when Tebow was there.

Yep! It's too early to call.
1. I want to see what #4 T. J. Yeldon's health status is (Ankle or whatever).
2. I hope the Defense was NOT totally worn out in the LSU game and can't recover before the Mittittippi Tate game. Here's hoping they will be fired up and ready for MSU.
3. Alabama has lots of trouble dealing with QB's like Marshall and DAK who can run the ball. Maybe we need Rueben Foster to hit him a few times.
4. Our OL should be rested from the LSU game since they didn't get to play much in the 3rd quarter of the LSU game. However, I'm not sure since we did run 70+ plays and plus OT.
5. I am concerned about Mittittippi Tate's DL and maybe the entire front 7. We need to loosen up their defense with passes so they won't clog the run ways to the end zone.
6. Other than DAK and he's a real BIG concern, I am concerned about #13, the bowling ball that's hard to tackle. If we can stop these 2, Bama will end Mittittippi Tate's unbeaten record. However, we can't have any turn overs on the offense.
7. Here's hoping the Sims home cooking will help him perform even better than in the aTm game.

We need #9 Amari Cooper to catch at least 2 TD's.
We need #2 DeAndrew White to catch at least 1 TD.
I didn't even notice #5 Black in the LSU game. He needs 1 TD. Did he play in the LSU game?
Sims needs to score at least 1 or at least match anything that DAK does.
We need #27 to run for at least 2 TD's.

If we need more scores, maybe our DB's can have a couple of pick-sixes.

State's pass defense may not be great, but I still don't feel great about their front 7 against our OL. Chris Jones is a solid DL. Preston Smith has been good, too.

Probably will see Bama go 4 or 5 wide early in the game to try to limit the pass rush.

I don't think most people truly believe that MSU is the best team. Let's see how many analyst/media folks pick MSU his week. They have the best resume up to this point and deserve to be ranked #1. I think our players will be ready to go but this is the biggest game in the history of MSU. It's just the next game to Bama..

My Bears team is determine to be the worst defense EVAH, so please Bama restore my faith that defense is allow to stop an offense.

Keep Dak from having his "Stephen Garcia/Bo Wallace" game and Bama should win by at least 14. I will be nicer to the puppies and have them drop from the unbeaten by only 11 points.

I'm going to take some flack for this one, but my gut tells me that MSU walks away victorious. I'm not picking a score because I refuse to pick against Bama, but I'm worried about this one.

When I look at the matchups, we are a banged up team coming off of a physically and emotionally exhausting game, whereas MSU got to rest their starters.

This MSU team just doesnt strike me as the teams of the past have. They have a talented and multi-demensional quarterback who is having the year of his life, they have a solid run game, and skill players you have to respect. They dont have the best defense, but several teams who have previously beaten us didnt either. Plus, MSU has already beaten 3 "top 10" teams this year, and 2 of those were on the road. They've been tested before, and they've proven to me that they are for real.

If we were completely healthy, and coming off an easy win against Vandy, then I might feel better about this game. For now though, I feel quite perturbed leading up to this one.

Here's hoping I'm dead wrong!! Roll Tide ya'll
