Props to Dak and State

One thing for sure is that State is one of the 4 best teams in the country! They battled and were grown men.

Also wanted to give a hats off to Dak. He's a warrior and a stand up guy. Super classy in the post game interview. He took nothing away from Bama and shouldered responsibility and showed great leadership and maturity.

His best quote:

"I think we are still one of the best 4 teams in the country. We just played one of the other best 4 teams in the country."

A true lesson for Jameis and Jimbo indeed.

Ya know, I just don't know if I know anything anymore, with regards to who is deserving of a Top 4 ranking, etc.

I think we do -- and my main reasoning is that, we lost one game to Ole Miss - by a few inches ultimately...after losing 3 starters to injury during the game, and not having Eddie Jackson in the lineup. AND committing 4 turnovers and committing more than a few stupid penalties.

But, beyond that, I don't know if I would want to be on the committee.....

I don't know how I feel about State. Good ball team, yes......Great? Not sure.....
Oregon -- gimmicky team that has others catching up to them quickly. Their talent level (for the most part) is equivalent to what you would find at TCU, Baylor, and Ok State..... Their style allows them to dominate other teams of similar talent.
TCU and Baylor -- look like that could blow out someone or lose badly to someone on any given Saturday -- they give me no confidence that they could be the NC
FSU? -- If they get down to us by 3 scores -- I think we embarrass them badly.....

So, if I was putting my top 4 together, right now -- without looking at records --

Miss State
TCU

I agree. Dak is a man who took a pounding yesterday. We hit him hard and often, and he still kept coming. Hats off to him and the Bulldogs. Our offense really needs to become more consistent if we want to keep winning, but my hat is also off to Blake because he has made some really crucial and clutch plays for us with his arm and legs.

Yep. And he was still responsible for 372 yds (87% of their offensive production - think about that for a second) and 2 scores.

They definitely should still be in the top 4. They topped us in most stats categories, just weren't as efficient in scoring. It will be interesting to see who drops out of the top 4, guess it will be TCU.

As soon as the game ended yesterday I said that I had nothing but respect for MSU. If the committee is consistent they'll keep them in the top four by the body of work, but you know that's asking too much.

I think they drop to #5 or #6. They have a chance to get back in, But I believe the committee does not want 2 SEC teams on the playoff's. But MSU & BAMA ARE THE BEST 2 TEAMS

I can hear it already... Who has State really beaten? A 4 loss LSU team. A three loss AU team and lost to a Bama team with no signature wins. Tell me you can't hear it too?
