Cop in MO kills unarmed black teen

Seeing this woman's tears and feeling her pain, I shed tears for her too. This is the face of the true victims in this situation. I see no color of skin, I see a hard working, self reliant person who I respect. Yet, I am considered a racist because I am a white American by so many including the POTUS. Can only shake my head and pray.

Here's just one snapshot of the aftermath from rioting & looting in Ferguson. Natalie DuBose crying after looters attacked her cake store to get "justice" for Michael Brown. She sold her cakes at flea markets to save up to own her own shop. ~ Via Josh Jordan.

Here's an interview she gave - http://bit.ly/1uU4BED

So according to the Brown family attorney, the word "demonic" is now racist. Unbelievable. This guy is nuts.

Demonic - the new "n" word.

I actually understand what is meant here, people I know who have seen or claimed to seen actual real deamonds always described it as that way, its usually something like a pitch black figure with a narly face and a muscular body. Sometimes with horns. (Notice I am being serious here)

What's a deamond? [emoji6]

See my previous post. If there are outsiders there, I guess they are just run faster than the locals because by my calculations 96% of the people arrested were locals.

I would suggest outsiders are a bit more savvy and thus not getting incarcerated, especially those who are there as instigators. They're experienced at this kind of stuff, albeit on a much smaller scale.

Reporters and journalists doing interviews with protesters say otherwise. I've listened to several first hand accounts and they have all agreed it's 50/50 maybe 60/40 (in favor of locals). Just because they're not getting arrested doesn't mean they are not there.

I've heard of Daemons but not deamonds.

Well, tonight CNN was covering protestors like they were heros standing up for the good cause. If the news outlets would stop giving them positive coverage, it would mitigate the problem.

That was an impressive interview with Stephanopoulos. I see why the DA decided to let him testify in his own behalf. That, in itself, was unusual. Also, most defense attorneys would not have let him testify, since grand juries are basically a stacked deck. DAs work hand in glove with LEOs on a daily basis. But they prosecute rogue cops on an occasional basis also. I think the DA decided this young policeman was telling the truth and decided to give him the opportunity to talk to the GJ, if he wanted. The young cop is guarding himself against the emotions of having to kill someone and that gives him somewhat of a flat affect, but he's telling the truth...

Reverend Markel Hutchins on Fox 5 Atlanta (3:30 mark) before the grand jury verdict:

We have already discussed with law enforcement, they are not representative of the student activist; they are not representative of the religious community; and they are not representative of the civil right community.
So whatever tools need to be exercised, those anarchist who seek to cause trouble and destroy property and personhood should be dealt with forcefully by law enforcement, and we have said to the law enforcement community that if that is necessary we will stand in support of that.

So members of the Atlanta community have stepped up to condemn any violence and looting.

I agree. Not because I have some social agenda, but because it's right. I don't know how people can convince themselves that the policeman shot that felon without just cause.

It does not seem plausible to me that this cop decided to kill a black man without cause right after he just got helping a woman and her young child who was having breathing difficulties.

It seems completely plausible that a crazy or drugged out low-life would instigate his own downfall after committing a robbery against an elderly person.

There are many great black people. I've met many. I'm sure there have been some that have been wronged by law enforcement. Stand-up for them. I don't understand while some people would defend so vehemently a scum bag like Michael Brown.

I can understand people being angry and I feel bad for Brown's family. But I cannot understand destroying the property of people who had nothing to do with the incident.
