We are not, nor should we be, the world police. Anytime other countries, especially ones more local and affected, can take control of a problem, all the better for us. I really dont see this as a loss for BO.
He was in the process, and still may, of sending armaments to Ukraine. He was promoting war instead of peace. Yeah, he looks like a dufus in my book.

Isn't this situation really a "damned if you do damned if you don't" for the President? Give up all or a part of Ukraine to Russia or spark a new Cold War or worse.
How's Egypt, Libya & Syria working out for him? About the same as Iraq and Afghanistan did for Bush just less US casualties in those countries than what Bush gave us.

I agree, but this stance does effectively concede Ukraine to Russia and probably ultimately concedes a few other countries to Russia as well.
