I never understood the SEC thing anyway. I will admit that if Bama can't win the conference, I would rather see LSU win it. Don't ask me why but I have always liked them even though most of y'all don't. I also don't care how the conference fairs in the bowl games.I will never cheer anyone on in the SEC anymore. They had their last chance now I'm done.

something has been in the works since gus made the announcement that he was given up the offensive play calling. They assumed their season would crash and burn and it would be easy to get rid of LashleeArt Briles as the next Barn OC?

Actual photo.
Every Auburn fan I know, including my daughter, thought this was the most classless thing they have seen. I agree. But we are talking about Barners here.

I actually think it's a good move for Lashlee. If he succeeds at UConn, he'll be a very hot commodity. He recruits well and it's fertile ground where Gus's offense hasn't been figured out yet, so he very well could.
Won't be Briles, but given the timing, there's little doubt Gus has someone lined up.
You are at Ground Zero on this but to me this is a backward move. Half as much money and half as much prestige, to say the least. Oh, and that 40,000 seat stadium that draws around 15,000 is a downer too.
A picture may be worth a thousand words, but this clip says it all. Very funny. The interview:
