Alabama has to deal with a lot of attrition on the roster and they don't rebuild, much less implode like LSU is doing. It's a criminal waste of talent to do what they are doing.
This is also a perfect example of why you don't fire a proven coach to try something new. You need to be confident you are making the right move, not just doing it to see what happens. I was always critical of firing less Miles, especially the way they did it. I saw some people say they just had to try something different, but well... here you go.
From what I've seen and from what my LSU friends are saying, the biggest issue is in the trenches - the lines are soft on both sides of the ball. I don't care how much talent you have at QB, RB, or WR, if the lines are soft, you're going to lose more than not.Bottom line: They have talents on the team, but there isn't playmakers at Receivers, and this goes back to what Ed said about the offense. I think there is too much thinking going on between Canada and the players. Too much going on in the offense. Ed stepped in to " simplify the offense" and it didn't help. They only scored 21 points.
if Les Miles is there this year, he's 5-0. Defense dominate as usual and be ranked in top 10.
Booger said almost the exact same thing.

I will never understand why Booger has become so popular with ESPN. All of his thoughts/analyses seem like your common, everyday forum banter IMO. He also seems to jump on and off bandwagons quicker than anyone else at ESPN.
This is hilarious. Surely, Barrett doesn't believe this. (He probably does.)

Just a matter of semantics, but as a Troy graduate, I object to everyone phrasing it that LSU lost to Troy. No! We beat them!
