Game Thread: OFFICIAL POST-GAME THREAD - Bama vs. Barn...

Well, our offense looked kinda lethargic and unmotivated. Defense held them to 26 even with the lopsided TOP. This looked like the Oklahoma and Utah Sugar bowls

We had that series when Bo scored the TD when we ran some mis-direction stuff and it worked like a charm. Not seen since.

This game falls totally on the ineptness of our offensive coaches in having the best offensive talent arguably in the nation and being unable to be creative at all and run a surprising vanilla offense, all the while not giving our defense anytime to have a breather because our offense cant stay on the field. Our entire offensive coaching staff top to bottom should be under serious review by Saban.

I have never seen a Saban coached team make that many unforced errors in a single game. The playoffs are going to be a mess. Hope you make it through.

Roll Tide!

That’s my takeaway from this game. That was just not typical of a Saban team, even against Auburn.

I still think that it is highly likely that we end up in the playoff. Alabama is certainly a top 4 team and this isn't really a huge blemish compared to other potential contenders.

Sickening. Not the game to play your worst game of the year in every phase of the game, plus mistakes that are uncharacteristic of any Saban team. That was just BAD. Time to move on and fix those mistakes.
I was going to say Scott did great, until I remembered the botched field goal.

We just got smashed in every phase of the game. Scott's punting was pretty much all we had. It hurts to say this - pun intended - but Jalen Hurts cost us dearly tonight. There were so many times where he held the ball too long and took a sack, or threw it away, when there was a receiver open. And these weren't all the way across the field, but sometimes right in front of him.
As much as I want to be in the playoffs, I don't want to get embarrassed.
There is not enough Makers Mark to dull this.
Lots of bad words go here.

Well we got outplayed and outcoached all day today. Congrats to Auburn, and it always sucks to lose one game, one game to a multiple loss team, and go from playing for the SEC to playing for nothing. Guess we will see how we respond. That was one of the worst executed games I've seen us play in a long time. Looked like we just thought we would show up and win and we're unprepared. Frankly, with that showing, I don't think we deserve to get a playoff spot and if we do I kind of expect us to come up short again. But Roll Tide, let's learn from this and annihilate Auburn next year.
