Not to derail the thread and I hope this is okay.....

I had forgotten all about this until the topic came up. About 15 years ago, I was fooling around with some cheesy freeware drum machine on the computer. I was already getting into recording guitar on the PC, so I threw this together. The sound quality isn't the greatest, but it was mostly for fun.

Exactly. People like to recall the halcyon days of yore but tend to forget the songs with deep lyrical content as 1968'***** song by Ohio Express, 'Yummy Yummy Yummy'.

I saw a special about the subtext of bubblegum music and how they kept trying to "one up" each other as writers.

And that's all I have to say about that.

It was the worse I’ve seen. I also thought it was because of my age but people in the correct age said the same thing. They said they should have saved the money.

I’ma Let you finish in just a second, but Beethoven’s 1824 symphony no. 9 was the greatest of all time.

It is a bit long for a halftime show, but the choir singing the Ode to Joy would have been perfect at the point when the catch was made.

i doubt either of those things would have brought in the viewers that lamar did.

interestingly enough, some of the reviews i read of his performance have been somewhat positive.
