A lot depends on the weather. It's supposed to be rainy and cool on Saturday. Which could mean a lower scoring game than we're used to. Or maybe not. If Alabama plays up to its potential, avoids turnovers and dosen't pull an Auburn then it should be a 42-13 type game.

Jalen doesn't play defense, you know.......unless you expect him to turn the ball over.....that doesn't make sense. If Jalen plays, it's likely the Defense will play less.

Great point. And if we have to punt more because we are less explosive on offense, then Gawd help us. We may only win by 20 or so. Field position is still important, and we do not have a skill in punting the ball strategically.

The other issue that teams have vs us when we have Tua is that for almost 3/4ths of the game our DL/LBs can basically tee off against the pass. When we score so quickly and get out to early leads it essentially blows up any plan or semblance of balance the other team might have.

With Jalen we might not get out to those big leads and it could allow teams to play their game and keep our defense a little bit more off balance.

This is why I hope Tua can play the first part of the game and we can get a big lead early on. Then rest him and let Jalen take over. Tennessee's offense, other than last week, hasn't proven to be a unit like what Alabama has. Pass early to set up the run. That's the way Spurrier used to do it.

Also, and I may turn out to be wrong, but that Clemson team was just a tad bit better than this year's Tennessee squad. Just throwing that out there.
