What was the best team Alabama ever played at home? When I asked the question about ever, I realize many will probably name a team Alabama played in a bowl game or SECCG so I thought I'd make this question about a visiting opponent.

1978 season USCw with Charles White as their running back, or LSU 2011 get my vote. Certainly the two best I've witnessed in person.

Isn't that when CPB basically decided to integrate and change Alabama football forever?
That was one of them. (I think someone wrote a book about it.)

The other was when we won a disputed Championship, that U$Cw said should have been theirs, since they beat us, on our field.

What was the best team that Alabama ever beat, on the road, in an odd numbered year, with a Democratic president in office, by exactly 11 points?

Don't forget about UF with Emmit Smith at rb -- cannot remember the year. I was sitting on the 50 in the upper deck in Legion Field and watched him run all over us. We mocked them in warmups, but they ate our lunch...totally and completely.

That's easy. Georgia, 2009 in Athens, 41-30 (Obama's first year. Interesting that we won four natties during the tenure of the only American president with Bama in his name!) (That's in no way intended to be political, so please let's not have anyone get their panties in a wad)

We played UGA in Athens in 2008, not 2009. :p

i'm going to get my panties in a wad over the egregious use of the term "natties"
