2019 Dax Hill signs with Michigan

... methinks the bold part of your post is a gross generalization, ... and a false one at that. :)

The NFL might not be *all* those player care about, but it's one of the main issues. If a guy has worked his butt off enough and is talented enough to be a 5*, he's looking to go to the NFL.

... you are absolutely correct.

The smart ones, however, are already trying to anticipate what "life after the league" looks like.

One of those: ‘I haven’t talked to anyone. I haven’t done any real reporting. But here’s what I think.’

I wonder how Dax feels right now about his decision to end up flipping back to Michigan and signing with them. The Wolverines looked great today.😁

Hope he likes getting embarrassed by teams with a little speed. If Franks could pass the embarrassment would've been more epic-er [emoji16]

Wonder how much longer they either keep him around or he decides to leave? One of the two will likely happen sooner rather than much later IMO.
He has to beat OSU at least once or he would leave in shame. His whole family went to UM, going back several generations. If he leaves before he beats OSU, he might not be welcome at Christmas dinner for the rest of his life.

Hill might not be the only player re calling Bama now. Miami looking for a coach and who's their number 1 guy Oregon MC

He going to be even less welcome if he stays and keeps losing UM! :)

nothing concrete but KT said at UA he had second thoughts. MC came to Bama to eventually coach at Miami
I do not think that coaches can talk to players signed with other teams, even if the player calls them.
