Not sure, but his draft grade is pretty much equal with Carter's.Mayden? Not likely
Well, he's from UM, so he sucks.Ok. Not seeing it but I dont have 6 rings.
Ok. Not seeing it but I dont have 8 rings.
And now he's a Patriot...so he double sucksWell, he's from UM, so he sucks.
FIFY
But it really shows that Bill Belichick is hell bent in proving that his defense won those 6 SBs with the Pats. The offense is relying on Sonny Michel and Julian Edelman at this point unless Stidham is just a Rockstar that no one ever thought he was.
I do not see them winning another one under his tenure... unless of course your last statement about Stidham proves true.
Because I'm of the opinion that it was as much about Brady as it was Belichick.

Well Belichick's tenure starter 5-13 at the Patriots before Brady's 1st start. I think Belichick was more of the reason for their 6th Super Bowl, but I think Brady and Belichick would've been unemployed in the NFL right now if Bledsoe didn't get hurt if we are being totally honest. Belichick was a stepdown for the Browns after Shotty built a super team that was close to a Super Bowl two years in a row. Yes I know Carson was the bridge between Shotty and Belichick, but most of the key pieces were still there.
It was the perfect storm.
But on the flip side, Brady is lucky the 49ers chose Carmazi over him.
Brady would have been a journeyman and Belichick would be on TV or a DC somewhere.Brady and Belichick were made for each other. Neither would be as successful without the other. Brady goes to the Niners and he’s probably out of the league by 2006
Pretty much. Personally I still believe Chuck Noll probably built the greatest dynasty, but Belichick benefited from a far better leader and quarterback than Noll to win 2 more Super Bowls. Brady took a lot of stress off of Belichick by not demanding insane contracts, and not openly fighting him through the media. If we had a time machine and swapped Brady for Bradshaw in their primes then we could've seen even more lombardis in Pittsburgh with that team.
But on the flip side, Brady is lucky the 49ers chose Carmazi over him. Really the only team that drafted a quarterback that year where Brady could've been as successful at was probably the Steelers.
But like you said... a perfect storm
