The majority of Buckeye fans can’t stand these three idiots.
Agreed. I sat close to Buckeyeman at the first CFP Championship, against Oregon. He was asking the people next to him some pretty remedial questions, about the game. I’m not sure he fully knew what was going on.

Buck-I-guy is the WORST. He would find a way to put the “I” in Buckeye.

These idiots make me miss Neutron Man, The OG from my early years.

Whats the issue with Big Nut? He is probably the one everyone recognizes.

Big Nut is a really nice guy from what I heard. He has a foundation that offers scholarships to students. More info here

Buck I Guy is fairly universally reviled for many reasons, not least of which includes the time he prominently signed a photo of the late coach Earle Bruce at a remembrance ceremony where only former players and team members were invited to commemorate him. more info here

Yeah the Buck I Guy seems to be all about himself from the stuff I’ve read and my own interaction with him. Like I said, I love to see super fans and he was the one that acted too cool for school with for me.

Justin Field's rib are fine. *not sure if I believe that*
I'm with you on that one. If he is fine now were they really that hurt to begin with? He looked like he was in a lot of pain during that game. Maybe he was laying in that krispy kreme icing bathtub that was in that movie "Wanted". They laid in it for a certain amount of time and were healed from their wounds.

One legit hit and that's over. They will be a factor. Unless Alabama can't touch him during the game, which is possible.
I expect the mush rush, so I doubt he will get hit often. IMO that is a mistake. If I were the DC, I would go after Fields. He is not a great passer if moved off of his spot. Yes, he is a threat to run, but better to have him run for 60 yards in the game than pass for 400.

If that's the case you can guarantee a shootout in the 40s for both teams.

That's what many seem to think but at least in the UF game the 3 man rush was successful 11 of 17 times 65%; 4 man rush 10 of 26 for 39%; 5 man 1 of 7 14%. I realize mush rush and fewer rushers are not necessarily the same thing, and QBs and teams and game-flows are different, but most fans want "pressure on the QB". But the goal is to do what is most effective which is not always readily apparent.

The 4 man rush vs UF was successful 39% of the time but garnered 4 sacks, whereas the 3 man rush was successful 65% of the time but only had 1 sack. On the surface or just looking at sacks, the 4 man rush appeared to be more effective but it was not.

Note: successful means: incompletion, interception, sack, comp or pocket flush <=4 yds except for FD or TD, no PI or D holding,

The Gator o-line is garbage. The OSU o-line is almost as good as Alabama's.

A good point. I'm ignorant of the best approach. I just leave it with the coaches because they have infinitely more expertise and believe it or not, care more, for more concrete reasons :). They are certainly fallible, but if for some reason I was right when criticizing them, it would probably be for the wrong reasons, i.e., a thoughtful, lucky guess.

Having said all of that, I'm not trying to quash discussion, just that I don't take my opinions very seriously, even though I want to :).

I’d like to see us go after him and be aggressive early....dare him to run and see if he’s hesitant because of the ribs. If he rips off a couple of runs and isn’t showing any affects from the hits then consider the mush rush route. I would like to get enough pressure on him to speed up the game for him.

Pressure is absolutely the key. Get pressure and JF is a turnover machine.

Ok, I don’t know why I venture to the Clemson board, but I do . Here is comedy gold from Tigernet.

.
If Alabama wins, they should share the trophy with the Tigers. The Tigers softened Norte Lame up for Alabama and manhandled the Suckeyes. Alabama will only win because of what Clemson did to there opponents.

If the referees didn't rob Clemson, Clemson would be clearing out space in the trophy case. Alabama should send the trophy to Clemson.
I put this here because it pertains to the game, somehow!
