I'm currently leaning toward four out of: Alabama, Ohio State, Texas A&M, UCLA, and TCU.

I'm not buying anything the Big 12 is selling right now.

Nor Michigan.

Alabama is the only team that looks like a contender right now. Ohio State looks like they can be with more seasoning. I haven't seen anything from anyone else. Maybe UCLA.

Well it’s not even halftime in this game, but if there is one thing I have learned from watching the “top” teams play this weekend, it’s that almost nobody has an offense this season and barring something crazy happening like the entire team going down with Covid, Alabama looks to cakewalk to the playoff again this year imo.

Alabama by far played the best overall this weekend. I thought Ohio St was second. Folks pick on them but they did score 45 points.

I’ll be sold on A/M when they show they can beat Alabama and then build on that success without a letdown. Until then they’re perpetually next year’s champions.

Yes. Ohio State showed they had something. A ton of talent. It may not be organized properly yet, but its there.

Georgia and Clemson didn't show squat. I believe in OU's offensive firepower, but not their defense, and not their ability to focus for a full season. They will drop one or two they shouldn't.
