Bama Game Thread: Official Postgame Thread - Bama vs. Vols...

I really like Steele as a defensive coordinator . He isn’t perfect but I feel like he does a lot of things I just like. Simple…aggressive…no hi fluting crap

Steele doesn’t allow someone to constantly run a homerun play on him throughout a game nor does he allow a star player beat him if he has the talent to affect that player.

Tennessee didn't stand a chance. 1st half Tennessee faced the gang that couldn't shoot straight, 2nd half we were the 7th Calvary that came out....
Suddenly Milroe was a Quarterback and in Command. He was excellent. Suddenly our OL blocked. Suddenly our Defense played like teams of yester year. Suddenly McClellan played like he was 10 feet tall. Suddenly Reec was calling a great game.
Suddenly the stands started to empty of the people wearing Puke Orange...

SUDDENLY ALABAMA PLAYED LIKE ALABAMA...
ROLLTIDEROLL.

I lost faith and went to clean the garage in the second quarter. Congrats to the staff for excellent halftime adjustments and players for staying focused. Off to go watch on DVR. Sounds like CTR called an excellent second half.

It's 4am in the morning and I'm sitting at the airport getting ready to go to Jamaica and I'm watching the replay of the game at the bar. My message has been the same since the season started. Laugh at my pain.... It's hard to watch this team struggling in first half.

Tommy Rees once again called good solid game, but the issue remains with scripted plays and Milroe missing his check downs several times.

I love Burton! I love his antics.

Defense did great job of adjusting in 2nd half.
OL was much better.

Few things to work on during bye week:

Everything!

Hats off to the players, CNS AND the fans. What a comeback.
Great win over the hated orange puke.

Other than having a linebacker cover a slot receiver once, he had a good defensive game plan
That was us being caught in a personnel grouping that did not fit...the DB was caught between helping the LB and/or helping with his WR who cut to the middle. Actually quite a good play and I am surprised they did not go back to it. Also, give a little credit to "Squirrel." Probably the best catch for a TD I have seen in any game. Braswell actually played it very good.

For this year, I agree Padre.

That Catch had an Insane Difficulty level.

He caught it Over the Shoulder by the Nose end of the football facing his body and somehow reeled it in while dragging a toenail for the TD

It was a Spectacular Catch.
