Surprised to see there wasn't already a who's next at A&M thread, and I'm wondering if Dabo might not be a top target?
Word is he dislikes NIL but maybe that's because the money may not flow as freely in Pickens CO. SC, as it does in Texas. Also, we all recently saw he's pretty upset at the lack of appreciation at Clemson from certain people.
Two other considerations. If Dabo is open to leaving.... he may realize that Bama is not going to call, and the other is he obviously has a strong mutual respect with Coach Stallings and from what I recall Coach was or is on the Board of Regents at A&M.
One other big box he checks and that's beating CNS on the big stage. That could be enough for those folks.
Just a thought..............

I mean if you’re in for a penny….at this point offer belichick 21 a year

I don't think anybody would disagree that TAMU is a much higher profile job than Ole Miss. I do think that Kiffin, if offered, will see Oxford in his rear view mirror. With the exception of a long history of winning football and current head coaches, TAMU is equal to Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Florida, Texas and Oklahoma. We shall see how this plays out.

I bet they call Lanning. Oregon and Texas AM both have lots of money. I think they rate 1 and 2 for donors/money, etc.

They will call Elko probably also.

They probably try to call Urban (I don't like him) and then Kiffin maybe.

I hope they don't take any of the Bama assistants (unless Coach encourages one of them to look for another job).

Texas AM with the right coach can be dangerous.

I'd love to be hired as a football coach somewhere and then be fired and get millions of dollars. I don't even need 77 million... maybe only about 10 or 20 million. lol.
