I’m just now finding out that Ty Simpson is staying.

I’m stunned.

Pleasantly surprised but stunned.

I look forward to 8+ months of Milroe vs Simpson II

Lol

Just an FYI, so you don't embarrass yourself at socials, we've put a man on the moon.

Welcome back my Crimson Brother!

It is difficult to understand how he and his dad came to that decision. Maybe CNS doesn't really believe all of the Milroe hoopla out there including his own public comments.

Seems to me that the biggest repercussions to Bama/SEC is depth and development. It's a whole new world out there. What we have known and loved all these years is gone forever because of money and liberals and to stop the SEC teams from getting all the talent. ESPN hates Alabama as does most of the country. It's working. One could argue all of the BS as new "STOP Bama Rules." Bama will always be great no matter what.

All of a sudden we have 14 undefeated teams? We are going into semi-pro. Amateur's are gone. Coaches are like kids in a candy store. Filling all their wholes and needs with money instead of recruiting and development. The NFL was way better before free agency...IMO. You see the best teams that stay together, develop. With pay for play is just not the same game.

The inmates are in control of the asylum now. Derek Thomas almost left Bama back in the day because Bisket was getting all the snaps. He was talked out of it. Michigan had 1000... 8 year seniors on their team and I think that counts probably more than anything. Can you imagine a Bama team with all seniors and Jrs? It is so much harder to turn the "coaching screw" on a player that needs it now because they will be gone. Words like coddle and appease come to mind. And maybe sway others to leave as well with their bad attitudes. And we are waiting on the government to fix the problem? News flash....they do not have a good track record at fixing things. Us...fans that love the game...our motives are pure. However, the people in charge and filing lawsuits are not.

There are so many ways to make these things happen that are good for college football instead of a no rules free for all. We are throwing the baby out with the bathwater. So it IS a "new thing" and I have no doubt that Bama will find its path in this new thing and dominate as we always do. But it will be a rocky road. We have been their before.

What a ride it has been with the "Old Thing" eh? It's so great, to be, from Alabama. Roll Tide! Tide Fans!

My theory is he and his dad are under the real impression the QB1 position will be up for grabs in the offseason. I have zero information just trying to put myself as a player and a dad in his shoes and reasoning through it.

Wow that’s a big pickup for tOSU!!

Wonder why he’s bolting from OM when Lane has used him well??

Is it just for an NIL raise?
It's seemingly been pretty well established that Judkins was a cancer to the team. Kiffin is likely pleased that he's Day's problem now.

IF he acts like that at OSU I have good reason to believe he will not get along with at least one of the stars on the team, RB Trey Henderson.

Trey went to school with my son and he's about as hard-working, straight-laced and team player as any young man I've ever been around.

To be sure, he has an injury history, but I can't see him putting up with any kind of cancer in the locker room if he has anything to say about it.

Allow me to take this (out of context) and post it on social media as if it were solid information… like we see all the time:

“It’s just been confirmed that Ohio State’s Day has cancer!!!”

Or Simpson wants to be a coach one day and places value on playing long term for Saban. Looks great on your resume.
